Staying warm during the winter is a priority for me and my family. We love the change of seasons and with that comes the cold and windy winter months — plus, we love to ski, so we always put winter gear to the true test.

Here are some of our favorite, warmest mittens and gloves — some of these are pricey, but we think you will agree they are worth it to keep your hands warm and cozy!!

Our all time favorite:  Astis Mittens & Gloves

These are warm (lined with Polartec Thermal), high quality, hand made (!!) and simply gorgeous. Their story is sweet too about how the founder, Brad Peterson, was canoeing in Canada and traded a Swiss army knife for a hand made pair of leather gloves made my an American Indian.  Brad skied with these gloves for 15 years before his dog ate them. Then they decided to re-create them and started Astis.  These mittens cover all the bases for me: warm, so cozy inside, high quality and uniquely gorgeous designs (for men and women).
